Hunting Packages

Our hunting is done on private ranches ranging in sizes from 150 acres to 5,000 acres. Our ranches are a great mix of mesquite pastures, wheat fields and river bottom land. We have access to many different ranches so our land is not over hunted, which ensures that our hunters see a lot of game in their natural environment. The key to our success is in the way we manage the land, and our most valuable resource; the whitetail! Quality deer management is, first and foremost, our guiding principle in making your hunt a premier experience! By managing our deer populations with closely monitored buck to doe ratios, proper food sources, nutritional supplements, and educating hunters on the age and maturity of our herds, we ensure you will have a successful hunt.

Longhorn Outfitters manages their land year round by working a number of food sources; wheat fields, corn, Milo, and other types of cropland as well as the mesquite trees that provide prefect cover for the deer to roam freely.

To book a hunt with Longhorn Outfitters please call us directly. Upon your request we will fax, mail, or email you a Contract/Liability Waiver, which should be returned with the reservation deposit. A * 50%* deposit * will be required upon the booking of your hunt to reserve your spot. The final payment will be due two weeks prior to the hunt. Payment should be made by cashiers check, certified bank check, or money order. Upon receiving your deposit, we will provide you with a receipt and a suggested equipment list.

Our hunts include transportation to and from the hunting area, lodging, meals (where noted), field dressing, and transportation of game to a meat processing plant.

Guns and ammo, hunting licenses and tags, personal items, taxidermy, meat processing costs, and gratuities are not included in hunt package prices.
